Abstract

Leading Across Cultures: Chile is part of a series of white papers focusing on leadership effectiveness in a variety of settings. The authors explore the historical and cultural roots of leading effectively in Chile. Leadership in Chile is contrasted with other leadership setting. In addition, the authors conclude with a discussion of how leadership in Chile is changing in the context of globalization.

Teaching
The white papers in the Leading Across Cultures series can be used as standalone reading/discussion vehicles or as a set in a compare/contrast discussion. The series was developed to be used in MBA and Executive Education teaching. The papers would fit well in an MBA-level leadership course or as a session in a general management course.
