Thunderbird’s Korea office was established in January 2019 and is located in the hub of Gangnam with complex of World Trade Center Seoul. The center supports executive programs, external collaboration and alumni engagement. Launched in June 2018, our regional center in Tokyo was the very first established through the generosity of T-bird alumni. Our office in Tokyo plays an important role in engaging and strengthening our alumni network there, recruiting students, and engaging with executive education clients and strategic partners in the region. With the amazing support of T-birds in the country, this office continuously develops new relationships and opportunities with higher education institutions and multiple companies in Japan. Thunderbird’s Shanghai regional center was established in 2021 and is located in Pudong, Shanghai, China. Serving as a vital hub within the region, the Shanghai team primarily focuses on alumni engagement as its core objective, while providing support to Thunderbird's alumni network and chapters in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong chapters. The Shanghai team helps to facilitate student recruitment for both online and in-person programs by actively engaging with local communities. Additionally, Shanghai leadership is responsible for establishing and nurturing existing partnerships within the local business and academic landscape. This involves forging executive education partnerships with local companies and establishing academic partnerships with Chinese universities.
